The phrase "age examination" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts related to assessing or evaluating someone's age, often in legal, medical, or educational settings.
Example: "The age examination revealed that the applicant was indeed of the required age for enrollment."
Alternatives: "age assessment" or "age evaluation".
