We observe that the histograms after single compression at each frequency approximately follow a generalized Gaussian distribution, whereas double JPEG compression changes this distribution: when QF2 > QF1, the histogram after double compression exhibits periodically missing values, whereas when QF2 < QF1, the histogram exhibits a periodic pattern of peaks and valleys.
The possibility of accommodation to the vibratory stimuli was avoided by randomly varying the frequency of stimulation after each trial; frequencies of 50, 60, 70 and 80 Hz were randomly arranged and then delivered in the same order for all participants.
Attributes included duration and degree of symptom control after each dose, frequency of medication dosing, potential for treatment to be abused, the side effects of vomiting, loss of appetite, and sleep disturbance.
