The phrase "affirm the same thing" is correct and usable in written English.
You can use it when discussing agreement or confirmation of a statement or idea that has already been expressed.
Example: "In our meeting, both parties were quick to affirm the same thing regarding the project's timeline."
Alternatives: "confirm the same point" or "validate the same idea".
