The phrase "affect supervision" is not correct in standard written English.
It may be intended to convey the idea of influencing or impacting supervision, but the wording is awkward and unclear.
Example: "The new policies will significantly affect supervision in the workplace, leading to better outcomes for employees."
Alternatives: "influence oversight" or "impact management".
Secondly, supervisee participants are advised that they are free to consent and that non-consent will not affect their supervision.
