This section explores cases of gain-of-function in p300/CBP, either by direct mutation or overexpression of p300/CBP or by the involvement of p300/CBP in the disease etiology, as well as additional instances where disruption of p300/CBP activity would be therapeutically advantageous (see Figure 19).
