The phrase "adjusting off" is not standard in written English and may cause confusion.
It could be used in contexts where one is referring to the act of making adjustments to something before turning it off or disengaging it.
Example: "After adjusting off the settings, I finally powered down the device."
Alternatives: "tuning out" or "dialing down".
