Each pin has a diameter of 800 μ m, a height of 500 μ m, and a 1.1 mm pitch between adjacent pins.
If adjacent pins balloon at the same axial level (coherent ballooning) they may touch each other impeding a proper flow of the coolant.
The vectors were then plotted and inspected for wave collisions and wave breaks that would break the necessary assumption of uniform conduction direction between adjacent pins (Fig. 1D); any such vectors were manually removed.
On IDE interfaces there is usually a small jumper that you place over 2 adjacent pins.

With this purpose, we analysed the expressions of MCT1, MCT2, MCT4, CD147 and gp70 in a series of prostate samples, including normal, adjacent non-neoplastic, PIN lesions and neoplastic tissues.
