Traditionally acute breast abscesses were managed with a combination of antibiotics and surgical intervention.
Radiological assessment and minimally invasive intervention is an accessible and effective strategy in the management of acute breast abscesses.
We also report several key issues encountered in the implementation of the study, which will have important implications for the integration of TFGT into acute breast cancer management in the near future.
