The phrase "active behaviour" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe actions or conduct that are dynamic, engaged, or energetic, often in contrast to passive behavior.
Example: "The training program emphasizes active behaviour to enhance learning and retention among participants."
Alternatives: "proactive conduct" or "dynamic actions".
However, the relative importance of a category of activities aimed at defining "active" behaviour was shown to be almost constant for all teams involved, possibly showing a fundamental behaviour pattern.
Moreover, spectral analysis showed that EEEs lasting 0.8 2 s occurring during periods of active behaviour with dominant theta activity are immediately followed by loss of such theta activity.
We interpret these findings as further evidence that EEEs lasting 0.8 2 s are ictal events because, when they occur in the animal during periods of active behaviour with dominant theta activity, they are immediately followed by loss of theta activity and the interruption of the active behavioural state.
Bandura suggests that children learn behaviours through role models and as such, parents and/or peers who endorse physically active behaviour or attitudes could promote physical activity in children [ 10].
These short EEEs coincided with behavioural arrests (Fig. 5), and when they occurred during active behaviour of the animal with theta dominance, they coincided with a behavioural arrest and were immediately followed by loss of theta activity (Fig. 6).
For this analysis we used only short EEEs that (i) lasted 0.8 2 s; and (ii) occurred during at least 1 min of active behaviour of the animal with dominant theta activity.
The adaptation perspective considers pro-active behaviour as the best condition for innovative performance, whereas the selection perspective advances inert firm behaviour as the best alternative to achieve successful innovations.
One might suggest, that pro-active behaviour is related to increasing levels of life satisfaction and quality of life.
By appealing to a proactive attitude and responsibility towards one's own learning process, educators can stimulate pro-active behaviour and development of positive self-efficacy beliefs.
For instance, participants mentioned that an increase of personal resources (self-efficacy and pro-active behaviour) stimulated them to search for more job resources in their present job.
Further research is necessary to evaluate whether this pro-active behaviour is an emerging phenomenon and if so, how it relates to relevant outcomes e.g. quality of life.
