Of 60 randomly selected men, 53 had sufficient sample volumes in ≥ 3 sampling years (11 missing samples were randomly distributed across sampling years).
We used null model testing of species co-occurrence and nestedness metrics estimated with our field data to ask whether SF species composition was segregated/aggregated, and if aggregated whether there was nestedness, i.e., whether species composition across sampling locations could be described by ordered subsets of species from the most species rich location in a landscape.
Across sampling locations, elevation is correlated with distance-to-river-centerlines at rho = 0.67, supporting our interpretation of elevation as an indicator of river valleys, where cool air pools may exacerbate inversion formation.
Number of alleles, observed heterozygosities, inbreeding coefficients (FIS), and genetic differentiation across sampling locations (FST) are shown for each microsatellite marker individually, across the total marker set (total), as well as all markers excluding Lysi07 and recombining Lysi15, 16 and 5a12 (NRL, non recombining loci only).
The decreases in DOPAC and reductions in extracellular DOPAC and HVA after potassium stimulation across sampling time in the microdialysis component of this study agree with results of other such studies (Holson et al. 1998; Robinson and Camp 1991; Stanford et al. 2000; Westerink and Tuinte 1986) and may reflect initial damage caused by the probe insertion, which recovers after several hours.
In Study 1, across three samplings between 2009 and 2015, the average minimally acceptable relative risk reduction ranged from 0.36 to 0.50, at or below the target effect size of 0.50.
Figure 5 showsthe average (and standard error) of log (SNR ) across 100 samplings for three levels of tumor purity level, for three common types of copy number transitions for data set 1 (top panel) and data set 2 (bottom panels).
We counted a total of 2595 A. femoralis tadpoles in our artificial pools across both samplings, with pools containing a median number of 19 tadpoles per pool (iqr = 7.5 67.25, max = 363, Fig. 1).
