The phrase "across entities" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing interactions, relationships, or comparisons that involve multiple organizations, groups, or individuals.
Example: "The collaboration across entities has led to innovative solutions in the industry."
Alternatives: "among organizations" or "between groups".
Additionally, innovations in energy storage will have effects on the grid through the growing electrification of transportation and increased need to share information across entities.
