Identifying and categorising the routes taken by patients to their cancer diagnoses will reveal any survival differences across different presentation routes and help our understanding of how patients with poor prognosis enter secondary care.
Interestingly, this difference in performance was already present for presentations of only 50 ms and didn't change across different presentation times.
In light of the finding that highly educated participants appeared less likely than others to decide to start taking statins across presentations, it is possible that they would also respond differently to different presentations, thereby limiting the applicability of findings from Internet-based studies, such as this, to populations with less education.

We compared the likelihood of participants deciding to take statins (expressed as log odds) across the six presentation groups at three values of RIS in order to examine the impacts of the different presentations for people with a range of values.
