The phrase "across both directions" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing something that applies or is relevant in two opposite or reciprocal ways, such as in communication or transportation.
Example: "The new policy will improve traffic flow across both directions of the highway."
Alternatives: "in both ways" or "in both directions".
