The phrase "acquire the task" is not commonly used in written English and may not convey the intended meaning clearly.
It could be used in contexts where someone is taking on or assuming responsibility for a specific task or assignment, but it is not the best choice of words.
Example: "After the meeting, I was asked to acquire the task of organizing the event."
Alternatives: "take on the task" or "assume the task".
Interestingly, individual minipigs may acquire the task relatively fast with one odor, although acquirement of the task when presented with another odor is more challenging.
To acquire the task instructions, a training session (different set) was performed outside the scanner.
