The phrase "acquire figures" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to the act of obtaining numerical data or statistics, often in a business or research context.
Example: "To complete the report, we need to acquire figures on last quarter's sales performance."
Alternatives: "obtain data" or "gather statistics".
