Exposures of 100 to 900 micrograms/m3/hr were calculated for the acid events that were monitored.
For example, in 10 patients with chronic cough, of the 39 oropharyngeal acid events detected by the Restech, 43.6% were swallows, 38% were not associated with any oesophageal MII/pH changes and only 18% were clearly reflux events [ 13].
