The phrase "account of randomness" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing a description or explanation of random events or phenomena.
Example: "The scientist provided a detailed account of randomness in the experiment, highlighting the unpredictable nature of the results."
Alternatives: "description of randomness" or "explanation of randomness".
So on the standard account of randomness, no sequences of outcomes of a biased chance process are random, but of course these outcomes happened by chance.
