When we had some reason to eat our Chinese food at home rather than at a restaurant, I drove to Chinatown with my daughters and two or three of the dinner guests, everyone having been assigned to pick up a certain dish at a certain restaurant according to a split-second schedule — a food-gathering exercise we referred to as an Entebbe Raid.
Data were analyzed according to a split-plot design using the Proc mixed procedure.
For each rotation, all phases are simultaneously grown in each year, according to a split-plot design (with REM and BUR randomised to main plots), with three replicates in complete blocks and plots of 24.5 m2 each.

All ecosystem function responses were analyzed according to a split-plot design with the whole-plot factor arranged in a randomized complete block design using the mixed model procedure in SAS SASS version 9.1 2002).
