The phrase "accessions of the same" is not commonly used in written English and may be unclear to many readers.
It could be used in a specific context related to collections, acquisitions, or legal terminology, but it is not widely recognized.
Example: "The museum reported several accessions of the same, enhancing its collection of ancient artifacts."
Alternatives: "acquisitions of the same" or "additions of the same".
The fact that many genetically dissimilar varieties can share the same seed characters (such as red color or small grains) may help explain why multiple accessions of the same name were found to be genetically different.
In contrast, ten sets of accessions with the same name were in completely different clusters within the japonica or indica subspecies and another four sets had accessions of the same name being split across the japonica and indica division (P. Ketan Merah, P. Krayan, P. Pui, and P. Timai; Fig. 2).
Most of the world's rice is produced from inbred varieties which have been developed almost exclusively from crosses between the accessions of the same subpopulation or between related subpopulations (tropical japonica × temperate japonica, indica × aus; Lu et al. 2005; Ni et al. 2002; Ali et al. 2011; in review).

For these latter analyses, multiple accessions of the same species were pruned by keeping the most early-branching accession.
In terms of maturity group, eight subgroups consisted of accessions with the same maturity group, whereas the other eight subgroups were a mix of accessions of different maturity groups.
An analysis of the genetic similarity, however, revealed only five pairs of accessions with the same name as being genetically identical for the loci surveyed, indicating that only 3% of the collection is actually duplicated (P. Although some O. rufipogon and O. nivara accessions clustered with indica and SH weedy rice, only two out of 51 accessions had the same level of shared genetic membership (>80%) with SH weedy rice as all indica accessions.
Another 12 sets of accessions had the same name and were genetically similar, though not identical, suggesting that they were members of heterogeneous landraces.
The 296 entries had 294 different SSR marker genotypes, only one pair of accessions shared the same marker genotype.
