As a result of implementing the alternatives, changes in turning maneuvers and driving tasks, travel speed, speed disturbance, travel time, and drivers' perceptions of acceptable gaps in diverted turning maneuvers are addressed in the discussions of the impact on driving behaviors.
Thus, vehicles in the parking lane will be forced to change lane and travel using the acceptable gap of the fleet in its medial adjacent lane, as shown in Fig. 3.
This means that the vehicles in the parking lane can travel through the segment by the acceptable gap of the fleet in its medial adjacent lane.
Gap acceptance models are aimed at representing to what extent the minor-street vehicles entering a roundabout will be able to use an acceptable gap between two consecutive vehicles in the major traffic stream.
The unrestrained group, on the other hand, includes those drivers, who are either not in a platoon and travelling at their desired speed or trapped inside a platoon and travelling below their desired speed with a continuous search in finding an acceptable gap to pass.
An important parameter related to gap acceptance behavior is the 'critical gap' which is the minimum acceptable gap to a driver intending to cross a conflicting stream.
This is because a large number of motor vehicles in lane 1 are forced to combine travel using the acceptable gap.
Thus, the capacity should be calculated by the acceptable gap formula.

Numerical results show that the designed Lagrangian relaxation method produces better schedules with much smaller duality gap in acceptable computational time, especially for large-scale problems.
