The phrase "accept the opinion" is correct and usable in written English.
You can use it when you want to indicate that someone is agreeing with or acknowledging a particular viewpoint or belief.
Example: "After much consideration, I have decided to accept the opinion of the experts on this matter."
Alternatives: "acknowledge the viewpoint" or "embrace the perspective".
