To reliably reveal difference in low abundant transcripts, analyses were performed on five biological replicates of the microarray.
In MRM analyses, abundant peptides do not directly interfere with the selection of lower-abundance peptides, but complex mixtures nevertheless are likely to have co-eluting contaminants with similar precursor m/ z values that may interfere with some MRM transitions for a targeted peptide.
