The phrase "abundance of the reference" is not standard and may be confusing in written English.
It could be used in contexts discussing the quantity or richness of references in a particular work or study, but it may require clarification.
Example: "The abundance of the reference material provided in the report greatly enhanced the credibility of the findings."
Alternatives: "wealth of references" or "plethora of references".
