To test the above-mentioned predictions from the TCS model, we examined the immortalized HMLE cells to assess the role of FOXC2 knockdown (FOXC2-KD) during EMT.
Our observations of the network with heterogeneous coupling are overall consistent with the above-mentioned predictions by Aronson et al. One non-trivial difference is that in our heterogeneously coupled HH neuron case, even three-cluster states with and groupings may branch directly off from the single-cluster branch (see Figs. 5 and 7).
According to the above-mentioned operon predictions, the majority (76%) of our persistent genes take part in operons.
Thus, when employing time bisection with human patients, some of the above-mentioned SET predictions about the expected timing behavior should be partly reformulated.
We also ensured that all the detected TM domains were approximately the same size and adopted the same topology in predictions with the above-mentioned algorithms for TM prediction.
In our analysis, about 10% of the data did not fit the above mentioned prediction accuracy.
Moreover, the intersections between the three above-mentioned lists of computationally predicted MITGs one for each prediction algorithm used are shown as Venn diagrams.
If we succeed in reproducing experimentally observed grid cells, place cells and other neural representations by running biologically motivated simulation/optimization, then this offers the opportunity to test the above-mentioned Lie-group based theoretical predictions directly on the simulations, even for experiments that have not yet been carried out in the laboratory.
Second, we will describe studies that have attempted to study the underlying prediction mechanisms that result in the above-mentioned modulations of the stimulus-evoked responses, investigating prediction effects in the absence of stimulation.
Figure 5 illustrates total annual inflows to the EU-14 from all countries under study (except Belarus, due to the above-mentioned data problems and resulting negative predictions).
The predictions of the above-mentioned assumptions, however, were exclusively tested in the context of sexual size dimorphism to detect sex-specific selective forces acting on body size, resulting in different optima in males and females, i.e. intra-locus sexual conflict (Fernandez-Montraveta & Moya-Laraño, 2007; Hallsson & Björklund, 2012; Zhang et al., 2012).
