FOR the last five years, Daniel Nelson has used Abode, a service based in New York that specializes in short-term rentals, to book an apartment for when he visits the city.
Government, private funders, philanthropic organizations, and Abode's deferred service fees will provide a total of $6.9 million in funding for the six-year Project Welcome Home project.
