The phrase "ability to opt out" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing the option for individuals to withdraw or exclude themselves from a particular program, service, or agreement.
Example: "Participants in the study were informed of their ability to opt out at any time without penalty."
Alternatives: "option to decline" or "right to withdraw".
We will always ask for individual permission or clearly inform you of the ability to opt out from sharing photos".
