In Drosophila, gonad, also known as Eagle, is important for the development of nervous system, and eg MZ360 / eg MZ360 (a partial loss-of-function allele) Drosophila showed a held-out wing phenotype and lost the ability of flying [ 54, 55], implying that Eagle may be involved in the normal development of wing.
This study was designed as a first approximation of the ability of fly ash and/or biosolids to manage plant-parasitic nematodes through either direct control (via changes in pH, electrical conductivity (EC), metals) or by promoting bacterial, fungal, and non-plant-parasitic nematode activities (indirect control), which act negatively upon plant-parasitic nematode populations.

Triacylglycerol is the main form of lipid storage in the fly and therefore reflects the ability of flies to respond to starvation conditions (Ballard et al., 2008).
We used a standard climbing assay [ 35, 36] to measure the ability of flies to climb or fly up a graduated cylinder, examining both sexes as they aged.
The climbing ability of flies was tested in an empty, 200-mm long, 25-mm wide clear cylindrical plastic tube at 25 °C and 60% humidity.
