In hppy mutant wings we only found a weak reduction in wing size and cell size, which is compatible with a moderate reduction of TORC1 activity.
We show that loss of MAP4K3 results in a weak reduction in cell size, and that this phenotype is very sensitive to nutrient availability.
In contrast, the homozygosis of the EP-704 insertion, although viable, results in smaller than wild type wings, due to a weak reduction in cell size (Table S1 and Fig. 2C D and 2J).

In the mutant data sets from male larvae, the unbound genes are virtually unaffected, and in the RNAi experiments these genes show a weak reduction in expression (significantly different from autosomes, four RNAi data sets, Man-Whitney U Test, all P <0.05).
Both PIK3CA2 and MAP3K9 were associated with weaker reduction in cell viability compared with the CTG-based re-tests (Fig. 3).
