The phrase "a weak shift of" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe a minor or subtle change in position, opinion, or condition.
Example: "The report indicated a weak shift of public opinion towards environmental issues over the past year."
Alternatives: "a slight change in" or "a minor adjustment of".
