Thus, with a very large variation in incidence of nontraumatic subarachnoid hemorrhage in this region and many countries lacking comprehensive data and available reports, we conducted this study to investigate the trend of epidemiology and outcome of nontraumatic SAH from 2000 to 2009 in Taiwan and compared our result with other countries.
