Previous studies have reported that the mediator complex purified from one of the phosphocellulose fractions (the 0.85 M KCl fraction) plays a role in supporting basal transcription [28], [29].
The results demonstrate a profound role for apo-ER in supporting basal proliferation in hormone-sensitive MCF-7 cells.
