Valeriana officinalis is a medicinal herb which produces a suite of compounds in its root tissue useful for treatment of anxiety and insomnia.
The humidity dependence of the PTR-ToF-MS sensitivity was tested for a suite of compounds including key breath species such as isoprene and acetone shown in Fig. 2.
