The phrase "a standardised category" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to a classification that has been uniformly defined or established across a particular context or field.
Example: "In our research, we have created a standardised category for evaluating the effectiveness of different teaching methods."
Alternatives: "a uniform category" or "a defined category".
Assessments for standardised categories of fish consumption (2-4 times a week and ≥5 times a week) and cerebrovascular risk compared with a reference category (≤1 a week) were based on combining comparable relative risk estimates across studies using random effects meta-analyses.
