The phrase "a shared accommodation" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to a living arrangement where multiple individuals or groups share a space, such as an apartment or house.
Example: "During my travels, I prefer to stay in a shared accommodation to meet new people and save on costs."
Alternatives: "a communal living space" or "a co-living arrangement".
