A Chinese company, SANY, a maker of heavy construction equipment, is now sponsoring a Nascar team – that of Tommy Baldwin Racing and driver Dave Blaney.
"It was a long time," Sany says, "during which I did not care about myself or my future much.
Other members include Huawei, a telecoms-equipment firm, Sany, which makes diggers, and Lenovo, a computer firm.
Xiang, who is frequently the public voice of Sany, is a graduate of Dalian University of Technology with a master's degree in molding.
