The phrase "a robust cut off" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts where you are referring to a strong or effective limit or boundary, often in discussions about data, processes, or policies.
Example: "The project requires a robust cut off to ensure that only the most relevant data is considered for analysis."
Alternatives: "a strong cutoff" or "a firm limit".
The aim was to identify a clinically useful diagnostic biomarker or panel of biomarkers with a robust cut-off for positivity that could potentially be taken forward for validation in PBA cytology samples.

Further research should address both these issues, thus determining a robust neck shaft angle cut off, or population-specific cut offs.
