The phrase "a replication peak" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used in contexts related to scientific research, particularly in fields like genetics or molecular biology, where it refers to a point of maximum replication activity.
Example: "The data showed a significant increase in the replication peak during the experimental phase, indicating heightened cellular activity."
Alternatives: "a replication maximum" or "a replication summit".
Virus production in culture supernatants showed an increase generally at 7 days PI (Figure 2), although some cultures showed the opposite trend with a replication peak at 72 h PI in culture supernatants.
A replication peak was found on chromosome F at position 286,761, and an ARS was detected at 285,933 286,107 (ARS_F6).
