Another remarkable component of the assemblage of the northern flank is the soft coral Paralcyonium spinulosum (Fig. 3g), which is generally sparse and rarer than the other Mediterranean species of alcyonaceans [71].
For it seems that while the more remarkable components of the gambling perestroika scheme went nowhere, some subtler aspects wrought major effects.
