The phrase "a range of utility" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing various applications, functions, or benefits of a particular item, service, or concept.
Example: "The new software offers a range of utility for both personal and professional use, making it a versatile tool for users."
Alternatives: "a variety of uses" or "a spectrum of applications".
