The phrase "a range of mixes" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to a variety of different combinations or variations of something, such as flavors, styles, or products.
Example: "The new café offers a range of mixes, including smoothies, coffee blends, and herbal teas."
Alternatives: "a variety of blends" or "a selection of combinations."

But when I tested a range of mixes I found that isn't always the case.
