The phrase "a range of key parameters" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing various important factors or variables that are relevant to a particular topic or analysis.
Example: "In our study, we examined a range of key parameters that influence the outcome of the experiment."
Alternatives: "a variety of essential factors" or "a selection of important variables".
We tested the robustness of these results by performing a sensitivity analysis over a wide range of key parameters, including the basic reproduction number, the rate of de novo resistance emergence, the rate of conversion between resistant mutants, the probability of developing clinical disease, and the relative transmissibility of the resistant strain with HTF [see additional file 1].
