The phrase "a poor evolution" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe a development or change that is considered inadequate or unsatisfactory.
Example: "The company's latest product was seen as a poor evolution of their previous model, failing to meet customer expectations."
Alternatives: "an unsatisfactory development" or "a disappointing progression".
In the subgroup of non-trauma patients (n = 88), endocan concentrations at T1 were higher in patients with a poor evolution than in those with a good evolution (p = 0.03), but not at T0 (Additional file 1: Table S3).
