In an attempt to improve on the initially poor dose intensity observed in arm C, the protocol was amended in June 2001 to lower the threshold for dose reductions to a neutrophil count of <1.0 × 10 l−1 or a platelet count of <75 × 10 l−1, with delays for complicated thrombocytopenia mandated until platelets were ⩾75 × 10 l−10
However, one needs to be cognizant that poor dose regimen design can result in suboptimal efficacy, on-therapy resistance development, and resistance selection that may harm the activity of all β-lactam-β-lactamase inhibitor combinations.
In addition, NTG has low bioavailability and poor dose proportionality probably resulting from its limited absorption through the gastrointestinal tract consequent on its low water solubility (8 mg/L) and/or wettability.
Other causes of backwardness include poor quality of land, low area under commercial crop, low crop density, poor doses of fertilizer, etc. Action is required to be taken in these mouzas for improving the level of development in agriculture sector.
If an exposure index is a poor surrogate for dose at the target organ of interest, and/or if there is large intra-individual variability in exposure over time compared to inter-individual variability, it will make it more difficult to detect an association between the exposure and outcome of interest through the dilution of effect estimates and loss of study power [ 14].
That is, lesions receiving a high dose and demonstrating a significant response; lesions receiving a low dose and demonstrating a poor response; lesions receiving a medial dose with a low CoV and demonstrating a significant response; lesions receiving a medial dose with a high CoV and demonstrating a poor response; and lesions demonstrating a poor response despite a high dose being received.
However, these trials are limited in their power by the fact that they compare two therapy modalities as opposed to two different schedules of the same therapy modality, as well as the poorer dose conformity available at the time [6,27].
Studies have also shown that medical students have a poor knowledge of radiation dose and its associated risks [3, 14, 16, 17, 18].
A similar relationship was demonstrated by Klepstad et al. [ 12], while a recent study showed a poor correlation between morphine dose and serum concentrations [ 13].
Even with drugs that are predominantly hepatically cleared, clinicians often do a poor job of adjusting doses to account for hepatic disease.
