The concept of creation of 3D form profiles by simply projecting a set of 2D drawing on a physical model is utilised for generating 3D constraints and converting a single perspective image of the physical model captured by a web camera to a CAD surface model.

Not only do we revisit some of the main features of biological vision and discuss the foundations of existing computational studies modelling biological vision, but also we consider three classical computer vision tasks from a biological perspective: image sensing, segmentation and optical flow.
The proposed system is evaluated on four types datasets including two ICDAR Robust Reading Competition datasets, a born-digital image dataset, a video image dataset and a perspective distortion image dataset.
