The phrase "a pattern of continuous" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe an ongoing or repeated occurrence of a specific behavior, trend, or phenomenon.
Example: "The study revealed a pattern of continuous improvement in the students' test scores over the semester."
Alternatives: "a trend of ongoing" or "a cycle of persistent".
But there has been a pattern of continuous destruction none the less.
