The phrase "a passage that includes" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when referring to a specific section of text that contains certain information or elements.
Example: "In the report, there is a passage that includes key findings from the research study."
Alternatives: "a section that contains" or "a part that features".
For some reason, they do not address, even in the "rigorous" section, the problem of quoting a passage that includes ellipses in the original.
