Several unknown factors including gene rearrangement, notable base composition bias, an extended length of GC-rich tract, highly repeated regions and stable secondary structures could terminate the movement of the polymerase and therefore complicate the recovery of mitogenomes from copepods using this technique [ 19, 21, 23].
