The phrase "a next wave" is not standard in written English and may sound awkward.
It can be used when referring to an upcoming trend or development, but it is more common to use "the next wave" instead.
Example: "The next wave of technology is set to revolutionize the industry."
Alternatives: "a new wave" or "the upcoming wave".
