The phrase "a mutual event" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe an occurrence or situation that involves or is shared by two or more parties.
Example: "The conference was a mutual event that brought together professionals from various industries to collaborate and share ideas."
Alternatives: "a shared event" or "a joint event".
So when you view a contact, you'll see that person's birthday, any mutual events you've attended in the past year, job status, whether the person is married, with someone or single, their location and more.
