The phrase "a much higher aggregate" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing a total amount or sum that is significantly greater than another.
Example: "The new policy resulted in a much higher aggregate of savings for the company compared to last year."
Alternatives: "a significantly larger total" or "a considerably greater sum".
